Wahool's Latest Update Brings Desktop Version, Promotion Discounts, Automated Returns, and Faster Shipping Options
It's been a while since our last update, but we've been hard at work since the new year on several exciting new features for our platform. Our goal is to always bring the best possible experience to our users and make running your shop as easy and efficient as possible. So without further ado, let's dive into the latest updates and releases!
TLDR; The desktop version of Wahool is now live and offers an easier navigation and use experience. Promotion discounts and automated returns and refunds are also now available, as well as the ability to search for items based on shipping locations. These new features aim to make running a shop with Wahool more efficient and convenient.
1) Desktop Version Now Live
We're thrilled to announce the release of our desktop version of Wahool! You can now manage your shop from the comfort of your laptop or desktop computer. It comes with all the same features you're familiar with, just a lot easier to navigate and use than the mobile version. *Please note that the consumer store is not yet optimized for desktop and will be rolling out over the next two months. For now, consumers will only be able to shop via mobile.
2) Promotion Discounts
One of the most requested features has finally arrived! You can now create promotion discounts and offer them to your customers as an incentive to shop in your store. We've combine emails and promotions under one tab now called Marketing. From here on, this is where all the sales and marketing features we add will live. Be on the look out for more in the near future. Here's how it works:
- Head over to the dashboard in your app and click the "Marketing" tab to access the shop promotion discount feature.
- Create a new promotion by giving it a name and setting the discount amount or percentage.
- Choose which items or categories you'd like the promotion to apply to.
- Set your start and end date for the promotion.
- Publish the promotion when you're ready to go!
3) Automated Returns & Refunds
- Go to your accounts order section and select the items you'd like to return
- Supply a return reason, description and resolution type.
- Our customer service team will either approve or disapprove the refund request and send an email with a decision.
- If the refund request is approved, we'll provide a return shipping label which can be printed out and attached to the return package.
- Once we receive the item back in our warehouse, the funds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase, usually within 3-5 business days.
4) Shipping Location Filter
*Please note when viewing the product details you will want to make sure the US flag icon is on the size of the item as this ensure it is shipping from our US warehouse. If the US flag icon is not present that means it is shipping from overseas.
